The GeneSight test is a simple cheek swab sent by our providers to be taken in the convenience of your home.
You can collect the sample at home using GeneSight’s patient collection kit to be sent to the lab.
After sending to the lab for analysis, your doctor will typically get test results in about 2 to 3 business days.
Our providers will then review the results with you on your next consultation. It’s that simple!
Our providers can order a genetic test that can show how your genes can affect medication outcomes and integrate into your individual care plan.
Psychotropic service option start with a virtual consultation with a licensed clinician to gather a brief history and discuss the benefits of the GeneSight psychotropic test. If the GeneSight test is determined to be medically appropriate for you, we will order your GeneSight test kit and have it shipped to you within 1-2 business days.
Once the test is completed, we’ll schedule a virtual follow-up consultation to review the results of the GeneSight test and discuss available treatment options with you which may include medication prescriptions and virtual therapy.
A GeneSight Consultation is $550.

Following the initial consultation, if the providers determines the test to be appropriate, the order is placed with GeneSight within 1-2 business days. The kits will be shipped to you which typically takes 3-5 business days.

If the provider determines the GeneSight test to be appropriate, the cost of the test is your responsibility. The GeneSight test is covered by certain insurance plans. GeneSight also offers payment plans and financial assistance to help you. Please contact GeneSight customer service at 888-649-8198 for additional information and discussing financing options.
A follow-up appointment to review the results in included in the cost of the GeneSight consult. Once your results are received, your LinqCare care coordinator will contact you to schedule your follow-up appointment. You can also review the results with your own provider.
